Нечиталка VK is a Firefox add-on that adds a button next to dialogs in VK, enabling the 'unread' mode. In this mode, you can enter any dialog and the unread messages will remain in the same state. You will see that the messages are now read, but after refreshing the page, they will be marked as unread again.
