2019-04-03 | TBennett | Nice and simple addon that significantly reduces overhead of clicking on links within gmail. And it reduces that creepy feeling I experience whenever I'm reminded google is also tracking clicked links. Of course they have full access to the email anyway... Note that the google tracking link will still show up briefly in the url bar before the desired link but it is not actually followed. (verified with ffox browser console log: find urlcleaner's "Redirecting:" msg, then enable "Requests" to display connections and you'll see no connection was made to google) |
