Rewrite customizable patterns in a page. Created mostly for personal amusement, inspired by XKCD #1288 and "cloud to butt." By default provides a sensible "mispell" -> "misspell" replacement.

Text Rewriter is a Firefox add-on that allows you to rewrite customizable patterns on webpages. It uses JavaScript regular expressions to perform replacements, including backrefs and captures. The addon also has a feature to disable substitutions on specific domains and an experimental live update feature for dynamic text.
