Prevents AUTOMATIC creation of new tabs or repeating tabs when two or more tabs have the same addresses. The process of closing repeated tabs is automatic based on the settings that you can determine within the extension/add-on.

Smart Prevent Duplicate Tabs is a Firefox add-on that prevents the automatic creation of new tabs or repeating tabs when multiple tabs have the same addresses. It allows you to configure the settings for automatically closing repeated tabs. You can choose to consider or disregard querystring and hashes in URLs, specify exceptions, and decide whether to close the oldest tabs or prevent the active tab from being closed. The add-on supports incognito mode and can be easily enabled or disabled. Works based on Chrome API events.

Tried in Firefox mobile, just looks like do not work at all.

I am looking for an app that lets me whitelist base urls so i can deduplicate them as well even if the whole url doesnt match.
This as well as other deduplication extensions fail to do this.
