2025-01-20 | Firefox user 14985191 | A good attempt at this sorely needed feature set, but not quite there. I was particularly excited about the Slim bar with hover, but unfortunately this feature simply does not work properly; though the content in the side bar does indeed extend, the bar itself does not, rendering this feature unusable. Another big issue is the inability to drag tabs out into new windows, or onto other existing windows, another feature I was depending on. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this add-on in it's current state, but I am hopeful it will be fit for purpose in the future.

2024-07-14 | Firefox user 15097235 | +Simple, fast, straightforward +Excellent "vanilla" UI and UX +Theme integration +Userchrome.css helper with useful tweaks -No multi-select tabs -Theme background cuts off at a certain height, solid background after that -Autohide tweak is great but needs a hard toggle (for expanded-only, not collapsed-only (the latter toggle is the current toolbar button behavior)) // Missing some stuff. But it has all the stuff I need. The rest could be considered bloat that slows me down. // Scrollbar? Yeah we should have that... BUT. You don't actually need to be switching between 30 live tabs, probably. If you get so many tabs that you need to scroll, and the subsequent overstimulation from e-clutter is a problem for you (me), maybe the annoyance of no scrollbar will motivate you to slow your roll and stay more organized. // Someone said it's missing a search bar? Naah. Those things bloat up these extensions bad. The address bar is a giant clickable text input field that is always visible in the browser, and it can search tabs fine. I never end up using the actual "search in tabs" functionality in either kind of interface anyway. I just type what I want in the address bar without any special search operators or anything. And if "switch to tab" appears, then I get to save a moment of navigation time. If not then my web search is ready to go. All you do is hit enter either way. If it's not in your tabs, you're still going to have to google it... why make your life harder by adding extra search boxes? The omission of the "vertical tabs search bar" reflects, to me, that the developer has thought these things through, wants to implement the gained knowledge and save users from themselves. 5 stars babey. *****
2024-05-01 | skip | Splendid add-on! Switched back to FF from Edge when found out about Sidetabs, been using it for half a year or so, and it just delivers on its promises. Thank you! I only wish tab grouping also came with this thing, but it's good nevertheless.
2024-04-04 | BarinaRoy | Looks like what I needed! but it does take away some built-in functionalities.. Like exchanging tabs, aka the ability to drag tabs "out" to a new or different window. Drag text, links or other "objects" into or beside existing tabs to open new (or that existing) tab and search the item for ex. In short, it doesn't act like FireFox's default tab system yet. It also collides with other tabs that happen to reside on the same side like the history tab. While I did gained more real-estate, my productivity were impacted..

2024-02-19 | Adam Shand | Lack of a narrow sidebar like Brave is the one thing that's been holding me back from coming back to Firefox. Love it, thank you!
2024-02-10 | Dajova | Breaks every time you restart the browser, forcing me to reinstall the extension to fix it. Not sure if it's just me, but had no such issues with Sideberry. |
