I find it actually useful, despite it's supposed to be a joke. I discovered Deepl with this, and appreciate that in the end, you are always in command. It adds a nice semantic to your choices (well if you agree with its vision, which I do).

@Hula I agree the description could be better, but it is probably part of the surprise. If you are not too lazy, test it! And review it after a test, that would be the normal way to do it.
Concerning the extension, yes, it redirect to Duduckgo when you try to go on google.com/.fr or any. You have the choice in the options to block google, facebook or twitter. I don't get the window "resist the internet" through. If someone installs it on someone else's computer or on the family computer, it allows people to stop using google for common searches. Hiding the addon icon in the menu is not even needed, as grandpa and grandma only wants to do some searches.
