Doesn't work on mobile or desktop view. Tested from a Google Pixel 9 Edit: Update fixed it :). I found 'SocialFocus' which is doing a bunch more cool features and blocks the bad stuff on other social media sites too with all customizable settings, but if you just want recommended posts gone on Instagram and nothing else then this will do the trick.
