I use it to download transcoded media, I also use it to get the m3u8 link, and play the media in potplayer for louder audio playback. Some tips: m3u8 link detected in firefox work better in potplayer, I think the reason is that jellyfin sends too much encoding option to chrome in the link. |

To the user below complaining there is no toolbar button, look for the jigsaw-shaped icon in the top right-hand corner, click it and the menu should contain the icon for Stream Detector (if not, ensure you have the add-on enabled, and if in private browser ensure you have "allow in private session" checked in the options) |
