Hide YouTube Annotations is a Firefox add-on that allows you to watch YouTube videos without being distracted by annotations. It hides all annotations by default, even in iframes and ad videos. You can still choose to display individual annotations by clicking on the settings button. The extension does not require you to log in to your Google account and the icon can be removed from the toolbar. It works immediately in already opened tabs. Access to browser activity during navigation is necessary for immediate functionality.
