The banner is constantly in the way if parts of the screen I need to be interacting with and the way it jiggles from side to side to get attention is extremely irritating. I got fed up with constantly having to clear it out of my way and after too much of that was moved to disable it. I don't know if it works, I just couldn't get past the 'nagware' GUI.
