Custom Video Speed for YouTube™ is a Firefox add-on that allows you to change the playback speed of YouTube™ videos with granular control. It provides sliders, buttons, and keyboard shortcuts to adjust the speed incrementally from 0.1x to 8.0x. You can save your preferred speed as the default and program preset speeds for easy access. The add-on also offers customizable keyboard shortcuts for convenient control. Open source on GitHub, it enhances your YouTube™ experience with improved playback speed options.

I love this addon, saved me tons of time

Works for setting default speed and changing speed. It does however break the normal YT speed controls. I would prefer if it integrated with YT's own UI and still allow speed changes from. (I don't need custom speed settings, but if I cared about those, they would be nice to integrate there as well)
