Download Virus Checker is a Firefox add-on that adds an additional security level to your browsing experience by automatically checking all download links against 68 anti-virus solutions. It uses the VirusTotal API to scan for viruses and notifies you if a download link is a threat. You can allow or deny the download based on the evaluation. The extension is built on top of VirusTotal web service, which aggregates antivirus products and online scan engines.
